Description Plasma PT31 cutting tips, also known as nozzles, constrict the gas/air flow through the orifice in the centre of the nozzle that focuses the plasma arc which directly effects the cutting thickness. The orifice should be a perfect circle for optimal cutting and not an oval. The tips are not normally interchangeable between different brands and size of torches.
